Rohan co-founded and was CEO of Skalata Ventures from its inception in 2018 until 2026. During this time, Skalata established 3 investment funds and made over 80 early-stage investments. He served on the board and as a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to Skalata he worked at the University of Melbourne leading a number of entrepreneurial initiatives. Rohan co-founded RosterCloud, a B2B SaaS company selling HR software to hospitality operators, which was acquired by an ASX-listed business.

Maxine was COO & Investment Director at Skalata Ventures for 8 years since its inception in 2018. Prior to Skalata, she selected and advised over 100+ startups as Manager of the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP), ranked 8th globally by the UBI Index. She also co-founded the Melbourne’s Female Founders meetup, growing it into Australia's largest network of its kind. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Management Accounting from the University of Melbourne.

Shahirah was a Venture Partner at Skalata Ventures for four years from 2022. Prior to Skalata, she co-founded Finch in 2016, growing the payments app to 100,000+ users, before pivoting to an enterprise data intelligence platform analysing over $2 billion of transactions a month. Before Finch, she worked in tech PR in San Francisco and ran her own consultancy. She is also a qualified yoga and breathwork teacher.

For five years at Skalata Ventures, Sam worked shoulder to shoulder with portfolio founders and built the operating engine behind the firm. Prior to Skalata, he was leading GTM at STAX, the platform behind the world-first crypto-funded IPO. Before that he held senior marketing and growth roles across technology, professional services and venture-backed startups, taking IoT and Wi-Fi infrastructure company Tomizone through its ASX IPO. He also founded and ran automation consultancy Pipedown.

Tracie holds board, investment committee and advisory roles including Spacecubed, WaveX and the ACU Investment Committee. She founded and exited two financial services companies. Since then she has led multiple funding rounds, facilitated exits and guided teams through scale-up. She is a former Vice Chair of Perth Angels.

Justine spent five years at Morgan Stanley in global capital markets, raising debt and equity for ASX-listed companies and government entities. Before that she was a lawyer at Ashurst, then spent three years in Macquarie Bank's Group Treasury on debt financing and hybrid offerings. Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce from Monash.

Chris joined Skalata Ventures in 2022 and spent four years there before the firm became Tall Order. Prior to Skalata, he held three roles across nearly seven years at the Future Fund, from Head of Finance through Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to Director of Corporate Systems in the Technology team, where he built its business intelligence and management reporting capability. Earlier he ran Asia Pacific finance for Federated Investors. He also spent eight years at Antares Capital Partners across Melbourne, Singapore and Shanghai.

Paul is a director of the Securities Exchanges Guarantee Corporation, which holds the National Guarantee Fund in trust. Earlier he was Deputy Controller at GE Capital, and spent six years in fund services at National Australia Bank. He began at PwC with seven years in audit. He is a CFA Charterholder and Chartered Accountant.

Anthony sits on the boards of ASX-listed Pro Medicus, Iress and Austco Healthcare. He founded Tonic Systems in 1999, which Google acquired in 2007 and folded into its Docs suite. He then spent eight years as Investment Director at Starfish Ventures, with directorships at Aktana, Atmail, DesignCrowd and Nitro Software.

Sarah advises boards and founders on M&A, capital and strategy. She holds non-executive director roles across listed and investment companies, including Future Generation Global and Adslot. She has also served on the boards of Nitro Software, Whispir and Hansen Technologies. Her financial depth underpins her work on strategy, marketing and investor relations.

James is a corporate partner at Norton Rose Fulbright. He acts for technology companies, venture funds and founders on acquisitions, capital raisings, trade sales and IPOs. He sits on the boards of several early-stage technology companies. He previously headed Herbert Smith Freehills' Melbourne corporate group.

Alex co-founded Serval in 2024. In under two years it has raised US$127 million from Sequoia, and serves customers including Perplexity, Clay, Mercor and Notion. Before Serval, he was Director of Engineering for New Products and Alarms at Verkada, CTO of Myagi by Rallyware, and a founding team member at OurHome and Ebla. He studied computer science at the University of Melbourne.
